I like the last figure painting that you posted. I definitely dig his skin tone colors that you've used, and it is a nice touch to use a cool color for the highlights on his right side. I don't know if he was suppose to be in a angle or really lean, but the width of his shoulders seem to be tight. or that if his shoulders are suppose to be squished in?
I agree with the shoulder and chest area. Doubt you will want to fix it now...but for critic purposes. On the monochrome light blue paintings that you started I think the 2nd before last needs some shadow maybe under the left arm, I believe she is sitting or leaning on something right? Bedside all critic , I believe you making positive progress. Maybe one day we can have a portrait session like we planed?
