Overpass

Started this a couple nights ago and trying to get time to improve it. Thought I would share so I could get some comments before finishing.

wtf!! every time i upload this image comes out on that color i don't get it hope next time ill get fix sorry guys. but yeah been working on developing this character in to sometimg more apealing to the eye...i think. original colors are gray

DOC SAVAGE REBORN (NATIVE AMERICAN)

He's got some hair coming too, have been working on this on my down time from school.
A creepy mother bike is in project for this character as well.Some accessories, steam punk style like a arm gauntlet and gloves , sachets with GEARS will be added too.
High detail in skin muscles is last this time. For some reason it always pushes me back from having a complete character so this time I am focusing on assets and how to get sharp but quick results.
Hope you guys like it considering I haven't posted for a while...but I have been checking everybody's work out, and its tight.

update ill work more on it latter.

Hot and Mean

Working on this new derby poster. Concept has been approved. Will add more fists and skates here and there, but this client is always asking me to make them more mean. Any advice for drawing mean women, without making them look haggard or manly? Achieve mean/cute balance?

I really enjoyed the new video on conceptart.org which demos head portraiture. The guy suggests if you are still not quite a master, to just work from photos until you have a good library of heads in your mind. So I am doing 10 models from photos. Also doing 100 2 minute head sketches on paper, will post any good pages later.
